I then heard about Doggy Daycare. The first few times the Pet Resort came to collect her she had to be pushed out the door and almost dragged into the van by Frans who is a MAN!!! I thought it was never going to work – boy was I wrong.
Here we are two years down the track and Zabu, I swear, knows when it is Wednesday and can hear the van coming from several streets away. She cannot wait to get out and into the van. She LOVES Frans and she absolutely loves Doggy Daycare. Everyone tells me what a friendly lovely dog she is, and she is, and it’s all because of the socialising and fun she has at Daycare; she absolutely loves it. It has made her a joy to be around, She is the perfect pet. On the odd occasion that Daycare isn’t on (school holidays) Zabu sulks – she is genuinely sad not to be having her day out.
I couldn’t recommend Doggy Daycare highly enough. Zabu comes home happy, bathed and exhausted. She absolutely loves it, and has changed her life for the better in so many ways. Sam, and her team, adore her and Zabu loves them. What more could I ask for my best friend?
Nala the Labardore’s Mum is a Huge Fan
What’s not to like about Doggy Daycare? I love Wednesdays because I get to sleep in as Nala doesn’t need her early morning walk. I enjoy my leisurely breakfast before work and even time for some me time/exercise after work then early dinner as no walk required is after work either; A DAY OFF for me. It’s really good to see Nala happily greet the doorbell and watch her wagging her tail as she is lead out to the big white van – she wants to go to Doggy Daycare. The baths are great too – Nala comes home smelling like a powder puff and all clean and lovely.
Nala is so excited when she returns – I wish she could talk. After dinner she curls up asleep and doesn’t move again – absolutely exhausted and happy. If I have a few jobs to do on way home I don’t feel guilty Nala is not watching the clock for my return! Doggy Daycare is a great break in the week and break from any boredom at home alone. She is tired on Thursdays and happy to spend the day at home relaxing after her big Dogs Day Out.
Doggy Daycare is also great if you’re unwell or away for a big day out – no guilt and at least you know that the dog gets a great day of specialised treatment and exercise. I have no problem with my dog during the week when I am at work as I am positive she receives a good mix of quality exercise and attention.
Doggy Daycare provides important social skills for dogs which is sadly lacking in many dogs who do not know how to interact with other dogs, especially in off-lead situations. Nala has recently had some issues after experiencing several aggressive attacks by small white fluffy dogs in which she had started to be aggressive back (after 3 years and she has mixed with all breeds of dogs on a daily basis without issues on her side). To turn her brain around so to speak I have had to do some serious training to make her feel safe again and prevent this happening. With the help of Doggy Daycare and the care she gets in this protective and safe environment she is gradually returning to the wonderful easygoing dog she was previously. She has shown no aggressive behaviour to any small dogs at Doggy Daycare because she feels safe. Our family loves Doggy Daycare and we hate the school holidays when there is no Doggy Daycare!
Spud and Harley the Labradore’s Mum Loves Doggy Daycare
Just wanted to thank the Doggy Daycare team. My boys Harley and Spud both come every Wednesday and they adore it. They seem to know when it’s Wednesday and sit looking out of the gate waiting to see Frans in his van. They jump all over poor Frans they are so excited to be going, as they know how great its gonna be. They have a wonderful time and come home exhausted and smelling clean and lovely. They sleep all evening with smiles on their faces. Summer time is even more fun for them with the swimming as well as playing.
It has given them the opportunity to mix with other big dogs and Harley my chocolate labrador has fallen in love with a beautiful lady Zabu…I dont trust just anyone with my boys as they are so special to me but I totally trust Sam, Wayne, Frans and all the whole Pet Resort team with them. I highly recommend the Pet Resort to all my friends, who joke with me about my spoilt boys and their Doggy Daycare. So thank you all very much.

Well Eddie LOVES Doggy Daycare! As you know my cousin is up and they wondered why he was sitting on their bed on Wednesday looking out the window! He was waiting for Frans and the van, only after one week of catching the van he knew (or hoped) that it was coming - well we did tell him he was going and that he would be seeing Mackenzie (his best friend).
